“Em 2010, quase 750 000 homens morreram de causas derivados do emprego, ao contrário de pouco mais de 102 000 mulheres. Na Europa, 95% dos acidentes fatais e 76% dos acidentes não mortais no local de trabalho são experimentados por men.11 Nos Estados Unidos da América, as ocupações com o maior risco de acidentes de trabalho fatais, tais como mineração, agricultura e pesca, empregam muito mais homens do que mulheres.”
